"I Have a Dream" (Chapter 2)

Fellow Countrymen,

After listening to my political mentor Glenn Beck the past few days, his daily lessons have encouraged me to write this article.

If you are planning to attend the 8/28/10 "Restoring Honor Rally", Hosted by Glenn Beck in Washington D.C., I ask that you read this first.

Please take a few minutes to watch the video link below while reading the full text of Dr. Martin Luther King Jrs' I Have a Dream Speech speech on 8/28/1963, at "The March on Washington" rally.

I believe it will come to you that a simple change of a few select words and his speech could have been written for our upcoming event. Unlike our Progressive Brethren, we will not attempt to change history, but rather preserve, protect and appreciate its true meaning.

(Martin Luther King Jr.; I Have a Dream Speech (with Full Text) "March on Washington": http://www.mlkonline.net/video-i-have-a-dream-speech.html )

Reverend King was an outspoken preacher who spoke of biblical principles in the Bible that, ALL Men are Created Equal (in the eyes of our Lord).

He was a man of extraordinary physical courage whose belief in nonviolence never swayed.

"This is not a black holiday; it is a people's holiday", said Coretta Scott King, widow of MLK, speaking about the new national holiday, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

I believe the date 8/28, and the location, was chosen to remember the struggles that MLK (as well as our founding fathers of this nation) faced and the path he paved for equality of ALL men.

Ladies and Gentlemen, our fight for our nations core values and biblical beliefs are no less important, heroic and (soon to become) historic.

The second most important responsibility that is bestowed upon any President, is to "Lead the Country" (i.e. Leader) in a direction he holds (true) dear for his country.

We currently have an elected President that does not hold the same values, traditions, respect and HONOR that we have held dear from the founding of America. He believes that our country must progress into a collective effort (like a bee hive with government as the queen), instead of a nation of individuals ("We the People") within society, who, fully aware of all of the facts, take responsibility to guide the nation, as a republic.

Today we (the Tea Party Movement) are at odds with the Progressivism Movement over the direction of this great land.

Here is where many Americans differ, thus the NEED for a second 8/28 rally.

In the TV series, “Star Trek“, there was a villain written into the storyline simply called "The Borg". This race of individuals were notorious in that they exhibited no desire for negotiation or reason, only to assimilate opponents. Their credo---like their name---was simple: "Resistance is futile."

Todays Progressive Movement is The Borg!

Is it futile for We, the People? I don't think so.

I would like to point out that as Conservatives (with most believers of faith and our Constitution) our RIGHTS come from God (and no other); that they are granted (with His blessing of stewardship, of these rights) to the individual.

We have original, signed, foundational documents of a "New Nation", displayed for ALL Men to verify within our Nations Capital of Washington D.C., that "We the People" are loaning these God given rights to our elected officials. And they can be revoked at any time.

God, Man (as an Individual) Government in that order. "In God we TRUST"

The leaders of the Progressive movement however, believe in a collective society. "In Government we TRUST"

With the TOTAL removal of God, there can be no one above them and no one to Judge them. Sound familiar?

They believe our rights (collectively) come from Government (and no other); that those rights are loaned to the 50 States (States’ Rights) and last, the individual man. Nothing could be farther from the truth.

With this behavior in full play as I write, I contend that the Progressives are intentionaly misleading Americans of their true beliefs.

Progressives, that follow Liberation Theology, believe in a collective society as well, but also believe in Collective Salvation and not Individual Salvation.

This is the belief that President Obama shares with Reverend Jeremiah Wright, Jr., his pastor for over 20 years. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=akLlxxWaJZM

Wrights churchs' teachings is based on (Black) Liberation theology, a Marxist/Muslim structured faith.

Our president believes that "my personal eternal salvation" is somehow linked to his salvation.

I believe this way of faith for salvation is a perversion of the Gospel and is demonic in nature and thus, must be anti-God (against God).

Obama’s statement: “I believe that there are many paths to the same place” defines him as a non-Christian.  Jesus says, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father but by me.” John 14:6

Romans 14:12 So then, each of us will give an account of himself (NOT THEMSELVES) to God.

2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one (Individually, NOT Collectively) may receive what is due him (Personally) for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.

"By any historic or biblical standard, President Obama is not a Christian". http://www.defendchristians.org/resources

I am in no way trying to say that "You Must be a Christian" in order to be the President of the United States. But, as a Judeo-Christian based nation, I find it hard to believe otherwise. And yes, (I hear you) it does not take away anyones rights of religion. You may believe anyway you like. Enough said.

My personal faith is Jesus Christ, and no other. (see John 14:6 above)

On this belief of salvation we differ. No one can convince me otherwise that this problem we face today (conservatism vs progressivism) is not a religious battle. It surely is and ultimately, and unfortunately, the majority of Christian voters were duped by his definition of "Change".

Back to MLK;

"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal."

"I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character".

....."judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character". More hopeful words can not be said.

Let me be clear: I am NOT judging our President by the color of his skin, but rather by the content of his character. Martin Luther King and President Obama could not be any more different in their character.

Looking back at where we were back in 1963, racism (bias/hate based on the color of one’s skin) toward blacks was a staple in our society among every sector in our culture. No one can deny that racism still exists today. It’s still as ugly; however, it doesn’t wear the same face it did 47 years ago. Today, it’s a lot more subtle and a lot less familiar. It’s become a little more ambiguous in its manifestation, yet the hatred behind it is no less powerful, no less toxic. Today, it prevails in the name of opposition and disagreement as much as by virtue of the color of one’s skin. We disagree with our nations first African-American President’s policies, yet are accused of hating him because of the color of his skin.

How absured it is that if we disagree with the Presidents' core beliefs (collective salvation) and policies, we are branded Racists by our nations media.

Racism still lingers in our society, there is no question. Like smoldering embers, Americans needs to extinguish racism for all time and never allow anyone to reignite the flames of hate. We've come a long way in a relatively short amount of time. Is there more that needs to be done? Absolutely.

But, I do believe racism (today) is NOT as widespread. With the passing of time, we are evolving into a more loving, caring and have a deeper desire to better understand our fellow man. We are human; we make mistakes. Racism is a human flaw, by or towards someone who is different.

1 John 3:23 states; And this is His commandment: that we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ and love one another, as He gave us commandment.

We are all Gods' children, each and everyone one of us.

As we March on Washington, let us remember who we are, where we came from, as individuals and as Americans. Try to envision what it has taken for this "Brand New" Nation to come as far as it has. There have been many battles over many different fronts. This one is different because it truly is different.

Today is our day in history. How will you be remembered in the history books?

We will survive, it's in our DNA. We are Americans!!!E pluribus unum "Out of many, one" (The Melting Pot of Individual Souls)

If you believe America needs restored to her original intent, and you agree with my views, I ask that you forward this message and pray for the Greatest Country on Earth.

You see, I believe deep in my heart that in order for us to survive,

America MUST Bless God.......and NO other.....for, He has Great things in store for our young nation.

Thank you for your time and your unwavering commitment to "Restore Honor" within ourselves, and our fellow man.

Respectfully,

Tim Giles
