Organizing For Freedom

There have been multiple times recently I have heard complaints toward the ‘Religious Right’ (at least they know we’re right) that we talk about getting back to our religious heritage. They go on to quote writings which state that most of the Founders were Deists and the few that were not Deists were not Christians. The problem with those views is that they quote writings from the 1950’s and 1970’s that are telling about the Founders. There is a website – I won’t mention because I don’t want to give them credit – and the quotes they use are from a book written in 1976 which contained no footnotes for their information.

When I was young my mother taught me-"By your friends will you be judged". Throughout my lifetime I have found this old saying to be wise.

Why then does the President of the United States have so many Marxists, Socialists, radicals and self-proclaimed Communists advising him?" Why would the President choose advisors who admire the lives of men like Chavez and Castro. Why, in an administration that Candidate Obama promised would be the most transparent ever, is so much power vested in those who are responsible to and report to no entity other than the President?
